About the Banana Leather
The banana leather is meticulously handcrafted from wild banana plants (known as Tanee in Thai) that have reached the end of their fruiting cycle. Traditionally discarded and burnt, we transform these plants into a stunning and sustainable material. Each piece of this leather-like material boasts unique natural patterns and exceptional durability. It is also vegan, water-resistant, anti-mold, ultra-lightweight, and biodegradable. We are proud to have pioneered this material and to be the sole producer and distributor globally.
